g.LADYbird TMS–EEG electrodes offer active and passive options for EEG recording during TMS. Their thin profile supports positioning the coil close to the head. With g.HIamp and a suitable software configuration, they can support TMS-evoked potential and closed-loop research protocols. Plan control of pulse-related and muscle artifacts as part of acquisition and analysis.

Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) are non-invasive methods that modulate neuronal excitability in both directions in subcortical and cortical networks.

tDCS uses a weak constant current to influence membrane polarisation and the probability of spontaneous firing, producing plastic changes similar to long-term potentiation (LTP) or depression (LTD). TMS triggers action potentials with brief, intense magnetic pulses, which makes it a powerful tool for studying cortical circuits and motor excitability.

Unicorn tDCS Core-2 is a fully portable, smartphone-controlled 2-channel tDCS system designed for research on subcortical and cortical plasticity. It attaches magnetically to the cap with Snap-In technology, and the researcher chooses the cathode and anode positions freely. Anodal stimulation raises cortical excitability in the target region (LTP-like); cathodal stimulation depresses it (LTD-like).

In the Android app you set the stimulation current (0–2 mA), ramp time and session length; sham (placebo) conditions support double-blind designs. Soft g.SAHARA electrodes can target frontal (DLPFC, OFC), motor (M1), parietal and occipital regions and are compatible with simultaneous EEG recording protocols. The device is CE-marked and RoHS compliant.

g.ESTIM PRO is a constant-current biphasic electrical stimulator used for functional brain mapping (ECS) before cortical resections. It is designed to IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-2-40 and ISO 14971, and is a CE-marked, FDA-cleared medical device.

With an 80 V compliance voltage it delivers the required current into high-impedance ECoG and cortical electrodes. Used with g.USBamp or g.HIamp, it lets you design closed-loop stimulation experiments with real-time EEG/ECoG recording in g.HIsys.

MagPro X100 is a magnetic stimulator with high repetition capacity, optimised for basic and translational neuroscience research. It supports biphasic and monophasic pulse shapes, and electronic current-direction reversal allows stimulation in both directions through the same coil.

The MagOption add-on adds twin-coil paired-pulse, power mode and half-sine waveforms. With repetition rates up to 100 Hz, cortical excitability (MEP), cortical silent period (CSP), short-interval cortical inhibition (SICI) and other paired-pulse protocols can be run.
